The safe way to let your kids watch YouTube

Cubflix is a safe, parent-approved YouTube viewer for kids. Parents pick the channels; kids see only what’s allowed. No recommendations, no algorithms, no surprises. Features a simple, kid-friendly interface and a “Linear TV Mode” that plays approved videos from a selected channel, similar to the TV you grew up with. Safe, fun, and totally in your control.

Works as advertised. Simple channel approval system that actually keeps kids within boundaries. I appreciate that there's no recommendation algorithm trying to maximize watch time. The interface is straightforward enough that my 7 year old can navigate it independently but locked down enough that he can't access anything I haven't approved. Good solution for parents who want YouTube content without the YouTube chaos.
The interface is well designed for young kids. Big, clear channel icons and simple navigation. My 4 year old figured it out in about 2 minutes. The parent dashboard for approving channels is straightforward too. Only minor complaint is that searching for new channels to add could be smoother, but once you've got your whitelist set up it's pretty much hands off. The Linear TV Mode is a nice touch for kids who just want to watch without picking.
Been using Cubflix for my 6 and 8 year olds for about 2 months now and it's honestly perfect for what we need. I pick exactly which channels they can watch and that's all they see. No random recommendations trying to suck them into endless watching. The Linear TV Mode is brilliant because it just plays videos from their approved channels like the Saturday morning cartoons I grew up with. They watch for 30 minutes after school and when it's done, it's done. Setup took me maybe 10 minutes to whitelist their favorite educational channels and now I don't worry about what they're watching.
Love this so much! The parent-approved channel system is exactly what I needed. My daughter watches her favorite science and craft channels without any random videos popping up trying to grab her attention. Set it up in about 15 minutes and added 12 channels I trust. The Linear TV Mode is her favorite feature because she can just relax and watch without constantly deciding what's next. Been using it every day for 2 months and it's been flawless. Highly recommend for any parent worried about YouTube content.
My twins have learned so much from the educational content.

They're actually asking for this instead of regular YouTube.
The channel whitelist feature is brilliant. I spent about 20 minutes going through educational YouTube channels and adding the ones I trust. Now my kids have access to maybe 15 channels total and that's it. No comments section, no suggested videos sidebar, no algorithm. Just clean, parent-approved content. They've been using it daily for 6 weeks and I haven't had a single concern about what they're watching. The kid-friendly interface means my 5 year old can use it without help.
Best decision we made for our kids' development.
Every show has real educational value.
The educational channels are so well-curated. My 4-year-old is actually learning!

The concept is exactly what parents need but I've had issues with the Linear TV Mode buffering on our iPad. Regular channel browsing works fine but the continuous play feature stutters every few videos. Happens on WiFi so not a connection issue. Hope this gets fixed because when it works it's great for keeping my 5 year old from clicking around constantly.

Does what it says but feels limited. The channel approval system works but I wish there was more granular control like approving specific playlists instead of entire channels. Some channels post a mix of content and I only want certain series available. The no-algorithm approach is good but makes discovery harder when you want to find new appropriate channels to add to the whitelist.
Solid parental control tool. The channel whitelist approach works well for our household. My kids can only see content from the 8 channels I've approved, which gives me peace of mind. The interface is clean and kid-friendly without being condescending. Would be nice if there was a time limit feature built in so I could set automatic cutoffs, but overall it does what it promises. No algorithm pushing random videos is the main selling point.

The channel whitelist concept is perfect for parents who want control without completely blocking YouTube. I spent an afternoon researching and approving 18 educational channels and now my kids have a curated library that I'm comfortable with. No algorithm means no rabbit holes of increasingly questionable content. The Linear TV Mode has become our Sunday morning routine where they just watch approved channels playing continuously. Simple, safe, and totally in my control like the description promises. Been using for 5 weeks with zero issues.
Being able to restrict content this way is invaluable.
I created a custom list of 5 channels and my kids can only watch those. Perfect.
This is the feature I've been asking for in every kids app.
This is exactly what YouTube Kids should have been. I've tested it with 12 different channels over the past 3 weeks and my daughter only sees what I approve. No sneaky recommendations, no autoplay taking her down rabbit holes, just the content I've vetted. The Linear TV Mode has been a game changer for weekend mornings. She turns it on and watches her approved science and art channels without constantly asking me what to watch next. Finally feels like I'm in control of screen time again.
So much better than YouTube Kids. The channel curation is actually thoughtful.
The quality of content rivals much bigger platforms.
12 educational channels is the perfect amount - not overwhelming.
