DejavuMap
A live canvas of imagined worlds powered by Nano Banana Pro

DejavuMap is a tool for co-creating imagined moments across the world in real time. Choose any coordinate on Earth and generate a scene that feels like a glimpse into the past or a parallel version of the present. As people everywhere create their own moments, the map becomes a shared and continuously updating canvas. You can generate your own scenes, explore what others are making at the same time, and watch this collective story unfold across the globe.

Been using this for a worldbuilding project. Generated 25+ scenes across a fictional country's coordinates. The descriptions have this ethereal quality that works perfectly for imagined moments. Love exploring what others create - found someone placing scenes across the entire Mediterranean coastline creating this connected narrative.
Worldbuilding use case is brilliant! 25+ scenes across coordinates for a fictional country is exactly the kind of creative application this enables.
Love seeing worldbuilding projects! The Mediterranean coastline narrative you found shows how people are creating connected stories. That's exactly what we hoped would emerge.
Interesting collaborative creative tool. The scenes generated are atmospheric and the shared aspect is compelling. Created moments for about a dozen locations. Missing some features like bookmarking others' moments or searching by location. The real-time updates are smooth but I'd love to see what was created at specific coordinates over time, not just the most recent moment.
Bookmarking and historical view of coordinates would both add depth. Seeing how a location's imagined moments evolve over time could be fascinating.
This is wonderfully weird in the best way. Generated moments for random coordinates - some felt like glimpses into alternate histories, others like parallel present-day scenes. The map becomes this shared canvas of collective imagination. Really enjoy the simplicity of just picking a coordinate and seeing what moment emerges.
The alternate histories vs parallel present distinction is interesting - sounds like the generation captures different temporal flavors.
I've been using DejavuMap for my creative writing project over the past 3 weeks, generating scenes at specific locations where my story takes place. Created about 40 different moments across 15 countries. The scene generation captures mood incredibly well - descriptions feel vivid and the parallel universe angle adds interesting depth. Watching the map fill up with contributions from people worldwide is fascinating. The coordinate system lets you pinpoint exact locations which is perfect for location-based storytelling. Would love to see the ability to save collections of your favorite generated moments or export them. The collaborative aspect where everyone's creating simultaneously makes it feel like a living world map.
40 moments across 15 countries for creative writing is impressive! The parallel universe angle sounds perfect for storytelling.
Thanks! The coordinate precision and scene generation are designed specifically for location-based creative projects. Collections feature is coming soon!
Explored probably 30 different coordinates over the weekend. The generated moments range from haunting to whimsical. Seeing the map update in real time as others add their imagined scenes creates this weird collective storytelling experience. Really clever concept executed well.
30 coordinates in one weekend! The range from haunting to whimsical sounds like the generation algorithm has good variety.
Exactly! We wanted the generated moments to capture different moods. The collective storytelling aspect is what makes it special - glad you're experiencing that!
Used this for a class project on alternative histories. Generated 20 scenes at historical locations. The coordinate precision is great, but I wish there was a way to add notes or context to your created moments. The map view is beautiful but gets cluttered in dense areas. Would also appreciate the ability to link multiple moments into a narrative thread. The generation quality is solid though.
Using this for alternative histories class project is such a smart application. Linking moments into narrative threads would be powerful.
The narrative threading idea is fantastic! We're exploring ways to connect moments - this type of educational use case is exactly why we want that feature.
Such a unique tool! The scenes generated for coordinates I picked in New Zealand and Norway were atmospheric and evocative. Love how it creates this shared imaginary world.
Absolutely love this creative concept! Generated scenes for Tokyo, Iceland, and the Sahara - each one felt surprisingly unique and atmospheric. The real-time map showing what others are creating is mesmerizing. Spent 2 hours just exploring random coordinates and the imagined moments people are placing there. Brilliant way to blend creativity with geography.
Love the specific locations you mentioned - Tokyo, Iceland, Sahara. Each one probably generated completely different vibes.
Interesting idea but feels limited after initial exploration. The scene generation produces decent moments but lacks depth - most descriptions are 2-3 sentences and feel surface-level. Created 10 different moments and they started feeling repetitive in structure. The map visualization is nice but there's no way to discover particularly good moments others have created. Missing critical features like saving your creations, editing generated moments, or adding multimedia elements. Would be more compelling with user profiles, the ability to iterate on generated scenes, or themed collections. Good starting concept that needs more development to sustain engagement beyond the first session.
Fair points about depth and repetition. Saving creations and iteration capability would definitely help with sustained engagement.
Really appreciate the detailed feedback, Storm. You're right about needing more depth for sustained engagement. Save/edit features, user profiles, and scene iteration are all priorities. We're building towards making this compelling beyond initial exploration while keeping the magic of that first experience. Thanks for the constructive criticism!
Cool concept and the scene generation works well. Created about 15 moments across different continents. The real-time map is engaging but would love filters to browse by theme or mood. Also, sometimes the generated scenes feel a bit generic - would be great to have more control over the tone or time period being imagined. Still, really interesting creative tool.
Filters by theme or mood would be super useful for exploration. Plus one on more control over tone and time period.
Great suggestions! Theme/mood filters and generation controls are both on our roadmap. We're balancing simplicity with creative control options.
