Using this for shared family crypto savings. 3-of-4 setup with my siblings. Simple interface and the approval workflow makes sense. Everyone can see the wallet status and pending transactions which prevents confusion. The no-tech-required claim is accurate, my less technical family members figured it out quickly. Solid tool for collaborative wallet management.
Set this up for joint savings with my partner (2-of-2 multisig). Works well for our use case where we both need to approve before spending. The interface is clean and approval process is quick. Transaction history is transparent which builds trust. Missing mobile app support which would make approvals more convenient when away from computer, but the web interface is solid. Good solution for couples or small partnerships.
Using Nimiq Multisig for our nonprofit's donation wallet with 6 board members and a 4-of-6 approval requirement. The transparency is critical for our accountability standards. Every board member can see exactly what's happening with funds. The customizable threshold (M-of-N) means we can balance security with operational efficiency. Setup was genuinely easy, our less technical board members had no issues. In 6 weeks we've processed 8 disbursements totaling about $15k with zero problems. Excellent tool for any organization managing shared funds.
Set up a 2-of-3 multisig with my business partners for our startup operating account. The customizable thresholds are perfect. We chose 2-of-3 so no single person can move funds but we don't need all three for every payment. Transparency is excellent, all signers can see pending transactions immediately. Interface is clean and the signing process takes maybe 30 seconds per approval. Much better than our previous solution which required technical setup. Highly recommend for any business partnership.
The 2-of-3 balance you described is perfect for business partnerships. Not too restrictive but still secure. The 30 second approval time is way faster than I expected! 🚀
Thanks! Really glad the M-of-N customization is working well for your startup. That's exactly the kind of flexibility we wanted to enable.
Been testing multisig wallets for a while and Nimiq's approach is refreshingly simple. Created a 5-of-8 setup for our community fund in about 15 minutes. The approval workflow is intuitive, the transparency features are excellent, and there's no technical barrier to entry. Compared to other multisig solutions that require command-line tools or complex configurations, this is night and day easier. For non-technical users managing shared crypto, this removes all the friction.
Using this for family savings with my siblings (4 signers, 3-of-4 threshold). The no-tech-required aspect is legit, my parents could use this. Transaction approval is clear and straightforward. Would love to see support for more than 16 signers for larger DAOs, but for most use cases this is solid. The M-of-N customization lets you balance security with convenience perfectly.
Absolutely love this for our DAO treasury management! Set up a 7-of-10 multisig for our council and the customization options are perfect. Every council member can independently verify transactions and the approval process is completely transparent. The 2-16 signer support covers most DAO governance structures. Interface is clean, approvals are fast, and there's zero technical barrier. We've moved over $25k through this wallet across 15 transactions with flawless execution. This is exactly what decentralized organizations need! 💯
Wow, $25k across 15 transactions with zero issues is impressive! The 7-of-10 threshold sounds perfect for council governance. How long did setup take for 10 signers?
The fact that all 10 council members can independently verify is perfect for DAO accountability. Transparency is critical when managing community funds. Great to see it handling that volume reliably.
The multisig functionality works as described. Set up a 2-of-3 wallet and the approval process functions correctly. Interface is basic but gets the job done. Would prefer more advanced features like spending limits per signer or time-locked transactions for enterprise use cases. The current features are fine for simple shared wallets but lack depth for more complex governance needs. Also missing integration with hardware wallets which would be important for larger amounts.
Fair points about enterprise features. The spending limits per signer would be really useful for corporate treasuries. Hardware wallet integration is definitely needed for serious amounts.
Time-locked transactions would be huge for DAOs. Being able to set a delay period before execution would add another security layer. Hope this gets added.
Great suggestions! Spending limits, time-locks, and hardware wallet support are all on our roadmap. We're focusing on enterprise features for the next major release.
Been using Nimiq Multisig for our community DAO treasury for about 2 months now and it works exactly as advertised. We set up a 3-of-5 multisig wallet where any spending decision requires approval from at least 3 council members. The setup process was surprisingly straightforward, no technical knowledge needed at all. The interface shows clearly which signers have approved each transaction and who still needs to sign. We've processed 12 transactions so far ranging from $500 to $3,200 and the approval flow is smooth. The transparency aspect is huge for community trust. Everyone can see exactly who approved what and when. Only thing I'd love to see is email notifications when a new transaction is pending approval, but that's a minor convenience feature. For DAOs or any group managing shared funds, this is perfect.
The transparency you mentioned is exactly what we needed for our DAO! The fact that everyone can see who approved what builds so much trust. How are you handling notifications currently? We just check the dashboard daily.
Thanks for the detailed feedback! Email notifications for pending transactions is definitely on our roadmap. Really glad the transparency features are working well for your DAO governance.
Same here! Been using a 3-of-5 setup for our community fund for 3 weeks. The approval visibility is fantastic. Processing 12 transactions in 2 months with that dollar range shows it's handling real treasury management well.
Perfect solution for our creative collective's shared fund! We're 8 members with a 5-of-8 approval threshold. The transparency features are amazing, everyone can see exactly what's happening with our money. No technical setup required which was critical since we're artists, not engineers. The customizable M-of-N thresholds let us find the right balance between security and operational speed. In 3 months we've handled 20+ transactions for equipment purchases and studio rent with zero issues. Clean interface, reliable functionality, and the price point (free!) is unbeatable. Thanks for building this!
